Synopsis

Who can heal the hero when he’s broken?

Smoke jumper Drew Collins has a lot to be angry about. His shrink says he’s damaged; his buddies at the base call him mad. To Drew, the only thing worth being tethered to is his parachute. Everything else comes at too high a cost. He knows it; he has paid that bill. Multiple times. At least that is what he tells himself until a sassy Brazilian neurosurgeon puts his beliefs in check.

Doctor Bruna Cordeiro has dedicated her life to erasing hurtful memories, while spreading hope with Doctors Without Borders. Yet, she has never forgotten. When fate reunites Bruna with a Ukrainian family turned refugees, she will help them settle in the new country. She still believes spreading hope is the best way to mend damaged souls. Until a broken smoke jumper proves her wrong.

Just because something is broken, it doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed.
